How ZeroBadge pricing works

ZeroBadge pricing is quote-based. We do not publish a price list, because the right setup depends on how many badges and workers you have, how many office users review and approve timesheets, and the contract term. A short call about your crews and jobsites leads to a written quote that covers your own setup.

Why is ZeroBadge priced by quote?

ZeroBadge is priced by quote because no two crews look alike. A small electrical crew working one or two jobsites and a company with several crews across many sites and a shop need different numbers of badges and office users, and they may want different contract terms.

A quote lets us size the setup to your company instead of asking you to pick from fixed tiers that do not fit. There are no numbers on this page, on purpose. Anything we published would be wrong for most companies reading it.

What does a ZeroBadge quote depend on?

A quote depends mainly on the number of badges, the number of office users and the contract term. Rollout support can also change the scope.

Badges and workers
Each worker wears one company-issued badge, so the number of workers you want covered sets the number of badges.
Office users
The people in your office who review exceptions, approve timesheets and see the dashboard, including admins and supervisors.
Contract term
How long you want to commit for. Contract terms are part of the quote.
Rollout support
How much help you want getting crews, jobsites and payroll set up.

What does a ZeroBadge quote cover?

A quote covers the badges, the cellular connection each badge uses, the ZeroBadge software, payroll export and integration, and onboarding help. You are not buying separate pieces from several vendors.

  • Badges: the company-issued badges your crews wear. The quote sets out how they are provided.
  • Cellular connectivity: each badge has its own connection, so it does not use a worker's phone, data plan or the site's Wi-Fi.
  • Software: the platform your office uses for crews, jobsites, timesheets, exceptions and approvals.
  • Payroll export and integration: approved hours sent to your payroll provider, plus CSV, Excel and PDF export.
  • Onboarding help: support getting your first crews and jobsites live.

How does getting a ZeroBadge quote work?

Getting a quote takes three steps: a call about your crews and sites, a written quote, and a rollout if it fits.

  1. 1

A call about your crews and jobsites

Start from the contact page. We ask how many workers you have, where they work, who approves time, and how hours reach payroll today. We walk through the product with your setup in mind.

  2. 2

    A written quote

You receive a written quote based on that call, covering the badges, software and support your company needs and the contract terms.

  3. 3

    Rollout

If it fits, we plan the rollout together: drawing your jobsites, assigning badges to workers and connecting approved hours to your payroll provider.

What should I have ready before the call?

Have five facts ready: how many workers you would cover, your jobsite addresses, who in the office approves time, how timesheets reach payroll today, and whether you would rather start small. These are the inputs that move a quote, and having them turns the first call into a quote instead of a second call.

  • How many workers you want covered, and how many crews they split into
  • The addresses of your current jobsites, and the shop or yard if crews start there
  • Who in the office reviews exceptions and approves the week
  • How hours reach payroll today, and which payroll provider you use
  • Whether you want to begin with one crew or jobsite and add badges as you expand

Badges are assigned per worker, so starting with a single crew or jobsite is a normal way to begin. See multi-jobsite time tracking for how a worker's day is split once more sites are added.

Frequently asked questions

How much does ZeroBadge cost?
Pricing is quote-based and depends on the number of badges, the number of office users and the contract term. We do not publish numbers, because the right setup depends on your crews and jobsites. Get started on the contact page and we will send a written quote.
Is there a contract?
Contract terms are part of your quote, and the contract term is one of the things a quote depends on. We set them out in writing before you commit to anything.
Do we buy the badges?
The quote covers how badges are provided, so you will see that in writing before you commit. Either way, badges are company-issued and company-managed, and workers do not buy or install anything.
Can we start with one crew?
Yes. Badges are assigned per worker, so you can begin with a single crew or jobsite and add badges as you expand to more crews and sites.
Does the quote include payroll integration?
A quote covers payroll export and integration: approved hours are sent to your payroll provider, and you can also export CSV, Excel or PDF. ZeroBadge does not run payroll. See payroll integration.
