Cookies Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This policy explains how ZeroBadge uses cookies and similar technologies (like browser local storage) on this website (zerobadgetechnologies.com) and in the ZeroBadge application. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers the personal and location data described there.

What this site currently uses

This marketing website does not currently set any cookies. Your theme preference (light or dark) is saved in your browser's local storage, not a cookie — it never leaves your device and nothing is sent to us because of it.

If you log into the ZeroBadge application (the customer dashboard or worker portal), our authentication provider (Supabase) sets a strictly necessary session cookie so you stay signed in between page loads. This cookie is required for the product to function and cannot be disabled while remaining logged in.

Planned: analytics cookies

We intend to add website analytics to understand how visitors use this site (e.g. which pages are viewed, in aggregate) and to improve it over time. When analytics tooling is added, it will set its own cookies or similar identifiers, and this page will be updated first to name the specific tool, what it collects, and how to opt out — before it goes live, not after.

Analytics data, once collected, will never include your GPS location, timesheet, or any data covered by our Privacy Policy — that data is handled entirely separately and is never used for advertising or analytics purposes.

Categories of cookies

For reference, here is how we categorize cookies on this site, now and going forward:

  • Strictly necessary. Required for core functionality (e.g. staying logged in). Always active; the site or app cannot work correctly without them.
  • Analytics. Help us understand aggregate site usage. Not currently in use on this site — see above.
  • Advertising/marketing. Not used. We do not run ad campaigns or retargeting, and have no plans to.

Managing cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking the strictly necessary session cookie will prevent you from staying logged into the ZeroBadge application, but will not affect your ability to browse this public website.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site changes, particularly once analytics tooling is added. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
